Notes

Formatting - The title of the zine should be italicized within the text, i.e. Evolution of a Race Riot

Summary - essential information included. Nicely written. I would have loved to seem some specific examples taken from the zine that represent the content and intention that is described here. More could be said about the format of the zine, such as the color of the paper, the typography, and how it was folded.

Background - There is text in quotation marks, but it’s unclear where this text was taken from. A footnote should immediately follow any quoted text, and contain a page number that refers to where the quotation was taken from. The section seems to rely heavily on direct quotations. A better strategy would be to paraphrase the quoted text — that is, to write it in your own words.

Biography - Good work. There is a misspelling of the author’s name.

Citations - Strong list.

However, Wikipedia is not an acceptable source for research. It can be helpful to point you to other, reliable sources, by checking the footnotes of an article and reading these primary or scholarly sources for more reliable information.

The links in the citations are not working. They just appear as text.
