A scan of a page from Jigsaw no. 3: It is titled "Punk Rock Girls and New Wave Boys." Underneath the printed title, the words "by Tobi Vail + Bikini Kill" are handwritten. The page talks about Vail's experience in ninth grade, and how she and her friends were not taken seriously by alternative boys. She noticed that many boys who claimed to be "punk rock" and non conforming only go to female bands' concerts if they find the girls cute. She goes on to say that it isn't fair that girls cannot be taken seriously in their own spaces.
